ABOUT THE ALLERDALE COURT HOTEL

The Allerdale Court Hotel is a 17th Century, Grade II listed building and one of architectural interest. Find us in the quaint market-town of Cockermouth amongst independent shops, restaurants, museums, galleries and even a 13th Century Castle; not forgetting the birthplace to famed poet William Wordsworth.

Twin set-up, family rooms, group accommodation and whole hotel hire is available (sleeping up to 40 pax). Meeting spaces are also bookable for up to 20 delegates. A perfect base for those looking to tie the knot, Cockermouth boasts several churches and an attractive Town Hall, originally constructed in 1840 and situated directly opposite the hotel.

Enjoy delicious made-to-order breakfasts using the finest Cumbrian produce. Sample Cumberland sausage, bacon and black pudding – all from nearby farms, plus free-range eggs from happy hens less than three miles away. Dine in our award-winning onsite steakhouse open Tuesday-Saturday for evening meals. We cater to many dietary requirements and also have a number of delicious Vegan and Vegetarian options. Please note that BLOCKS Steakhouse gets very busy and so we would strongly recommend booking ahead of your stay.
